Het prachtige Dagboek van een natuurjongen van Dara McAnulty won 13 mei bij de British Book Awards Book of the Year in de categorie Narrative Non-Fiction.
Dara was pas veertien jaar toen hij begon aan zijn indrukwekkende natuurdagboek. De jury prijst hem om zijn hoopvolle toon en noemt het boek ‘eloquent, hopeful and an inspiration and encouragement for us all to connect to the natural world around us.’ Lees hier het juryrapport
